As a kid, my Uncle used to smoke DuMaurier and they plain and simply stank.
Tobacco smells wonderful... tobacco smoke stinks like it's been festering is somebody's ass for a week.
I've had a few cigarettes at parties but they just taste bad and make me nautious... the buzz is not worth the taste or smell... I'll stick to my beer... that I can have a lot of.

I smoke like a fish
I did, for almost a year. I quitted cold turkey and for 6 years I've been clean. O.k. maybe not fully clean, I had 2 sigs in 6 years, and don't regret in quitting it.
